Software Design beyond borders

At DevRiseUp, we know exactly what challenges you face as a small or medium-sized company in the field of technical software development, as we have spent many years in the same position.

That's why we offer you the solution that we ourselves were looking for but never found: We look for the best fitting development partners for your project and act as a link to you. As experienced native German-speaking project managers, we are happy to take responsibility for the smooth operation and success of your project.

You benefit from efficient project management, reduced project risk and scalable development capacities.

I have been responsible for and managed software projects for decades.

I know how difficult it is to feel the pressure of deadlines on the one hand and to have a limited budget and too few staff for the many projects on the other. And, of course, there are also resignations when you least need them. The search for new staff in the German speaking region is immensely difficult, challenging and at the same time extremely cost-intensive. There are fewer and fewer candidates and the ones that fit are usually beyond the available budget.

In my opinion, the only way out of this dilemma is to gain a footprint abroad, precisely in those countries where there are still many potential colleagues who are also affordable because the cost of living is lower there. But even this path is stony and does not happen overnight. Without the right advice and experience, it can take several years before success becomes visible.

Chris Wocke

1994 - 2023
Technical sales and marketing at Schäfer Elektronik GmbH

2024
Founder of DevRiseUp UG

After completing a technical degree, I spent a large part of my professional career in international technical sales of products with a high need for explanation. In recent years, I have also increasingly worked in the Marketing sector.
Through my sideline studies in business psychology, I learned how important intercultural communication and cooperation are. Knowledge of cultural norms and values, communication styles and business practices as well as the ability to adapt to different situations are crucial for business success.
Supporting SMEs in the DACH region is a matter close to my heart, as it is to my colleague Jörg.

We will be more than happy to help you find a suitable solution.
