One year of DevRiseUp: Looking back on an exciting first fiscal year

A very special year lies behind us as DevRiseUp celebrates its first birthday today! A year full of challenges, successes, hard work and lots of fun. Reason enough to take a look back and talk about how it all began, the hurdles we overcame and how we are positioning ourselves for the future.

The idea behind DevRiseUp - Why we founded DevRiseUp

The idea to found DevRiseUp arose from a clear observation: the software market is under enormous pressure. Development engineers are in high demand, but in Germany, Austria and Switzerland there is often a lack of suitable specialists. At the same time, there are excellently trained developers waiting for projects worldwide - especially in countries such as India. We have years of experience in this discipline and would like to provide advice and support to companies that are up to their neck in terms of resources.

Our aim was to support companies in this country in the efficient implementation of software projects through offshore outsourcing - be it through the provision of software developers, test engineers, targeted advice, consulting or the assumption of project management.

The path to founding a company - a rocky road

The path to founding the company was no walk in the park. There were many bureaucratic hurdles to overcome.

We learned that, compared to other countries, Germany has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to setting up a business. It's a topic you read a lot about, but it's something else when you're directly involved. It starts with financing, tax and legal hurdles that are not obvious. For example, we lost months because the online notary procedure simply didn't work despite many attempts.

The German government can send a clear signal for sustainable growth here if it takes care of a simple and strongly supported start-up process, because that is exactly what we believe will move Germany forward!

Our Internet presence - a decisive success factor

We have invested a lot of time in setting up our own website. It not only serves as a digital business card, but also as a platform for our blog posts. Regular content is crucial for us, as it improves our Google ranking and makes us visible to potential customers.

We quickly realized this: Good content is the key to success. Our blog articles cover topics such as outsourcing software development, project management and current technology trends - and help us to position ourselves as experts in our field.

Networking - making contacts. Build relationships.

In addition to digital visibility, personal networking plays a key role. We are actively involved in business associations and chambers such as the Indo-German Chamber of Foreign Trade and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce. We have also established high-quality contacts on LinkedIn, which provide us with valuable impetus.

The joy of the first customer

The moment when we acquired our first customer was a special milestone. This was not only a business success for us, but above all a confirmation that we are on the right track. It fills us with pride and satisfaction to help our customers find optimal solutions for their projects and make progress together.

A look into the future

After a successful first year, we are now looking to the future. We want to continue to grow, expand our network and support even more companies with our services. The challenges remain great - but so does our passion for what we do.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has accompanied and supported us in our first year. We look forward to writing the next chapters of DevRiseUp's success story together with you.

We look forward to the next financial year - and many more to come!
